Pure ideological tosh from Labour. Education is a public good and should never be taxed.

Labour imposed a punitive tax, there was no subsidy or discount.

By imposing a tax they squeezed and punished families, forcing schools into closure and imposing a greater burden on the state system. We are seeing this all over the country.

Even worse, Labour said they would deliver more teachers with this money but they have failed to do so.

You improve the education system by bringing standards up as the Conservatives did, not by punishing children and parents. Labour’s approach has hurt everyone.

This is what I explained in my OpEd yesterday. I repeatedly warned the police not to bring in race action plans that treat groups differently.

Senior police chiefs ignored my advice preferring to get it from activists who I warned them wanted to DEFUND the police, telling me they were operationally independent.

Labour’s war on drivers is about to get more expensive - for everyone who drives.

Labour are secretly doubling so called ‘clean air zone fees’ and extending what was meant to be a temporary scheme indefinitely. This isn’t about cleaner engines or cleaner air, it’s about using motorists as cash cows.

These fees are already are costing families dearly but instead of making life easier, Labour would rather pinch more of your money.

At #Kirkham and #Wesham station with @A_J_Snowden hearing about his campaign to get a passing loop on the South Fylde line, which could double the number of trains serving Lytham, St Anne’s and Blackpool South.

The Labour government scrapped the @Conservatives Restoring Your Railway fund set up, which could have funded this, so more than ever Fylde needs a strong local champion like Andrew to speak up and campaign with his superb local councillor team
