@OleTimeHardball Mickey Cochrane was my grandfathers; his brothers favorite they never saw him play but in the middle of the Nebraska sandhills they read about him and named children with his first name and middle name always special for me.

@CimaronH In 4H during the 1950's my sister showed Herefords my brother showed Angus I showed the Shorthorns which are not seen as often now great to see.
@nut_history My memory is before MLB was televised so all radio a little later we saw the one game of the week but most games were still on the radio so the picture we saw was created by the announcer if you missed the televised game no replay maybe a still picture so we needed to visualize.
