@MattDSchubert There’s so much wrong with this, tweet there’s not enough room to point it all out. But for a start even FIFA aren’t saying it’s a ‘bogus red’. The suspension was suspended, it wasn’t rescinded. Even if it was accidental, I doubt it would have been rescinded by any league board.

@TroyRenck FIFA have not decided it was ‘ridiculous’ themselves. It’s ‘suspended’ not ‘rescinded’ which would mean it’s not a red. Suspending it is something I don’t think has ever happened before until FIFA wanted Ronaldo to play in the first two games of this tournament.
