Perfectly said. There are no worker shortages in a market economy. Modern immigration is just foreign aid for the third world via remittances and labor subsidies for wealthy corporations.

Without immigration they would have to pay Americans market value which is determined by what the workers are willing to be paid for doing that job. If no one will do the job at that wage, the corporation is required to increase wages until they find an American who says yes.

With immigration, corporations and their lackeys in government can unilaterally decide what the market value is by increasing the number of third world immigrants you have to compete with. So instead of increasing wages to meet American worker requirements, Microsoft can just bring in Vikrum from Hyderabad who will do it for whatever price Microsoft wants.

Immigration is for all practical purposes a tax on American workers and a tax break for corporations. An immigration moratorium would result in Americans getting the biggest raise of their lives.

I have many of you asking me about this so allow me to provide some insight.

First of all: it is absolutely mind blowing that the Washington Post included @Gab__AI in this study alongside multi-billion dollar AI labs. We are a small family-run operation that is 100% funded by cash flow from the business, so to be put on the same level as companies that have raised billions of dollars is very flattering.

We aren't spending tens of millions of dollars training our own core AI model like the labs we were compared to, instead we use a combination of the very best open source AI models at any given moment and build our own layers on top that guide the models in the direction we want them to go.

WaPo used our developer API for this experiment instead of our main app. The API does not add any of the layers that we add on top of the model to make it right wing like in the main https://t.co/uwg8fIgL3Z app. We do this to give developers total control over the steering of the model for whatever they want to use it for.

This means WaPo was effectively prompting a blank slate model for its questions, hence the results. All of the AI models lean left because the of training data. This isn't news, but models are also steerable. We steer the model in our core user service to the right, on purpose and without apology. All of the others compared to us are doing the exact same thing, only in the other direction and for BILLIONS of users.

So with that in mind, I took WaPo's repo and reproduced the test with the actual Gab AI experience directly in our app, not the developer API blank slate.
