Law Day provided students with the opportunity to meet legal professionals, ask questions, and participate in small group discussions. Students gained valuable insight into careers in law and the justice system through engaging conversations and real-world experiences.
IB juniors had the unique opportunity to visit the Illinois Department of Public Health laboratory for a special behind-the-scenes learning experience. RTHS was honored to be the only high school selected to visit the lab this year, making this a memorable experience.
Parent University Appreciation Dinner, which featured entertainment by the RTHS Jazz Band, exciting raffle prizes, an engaging guest speaker, and a delicious dinner. Thank you to our parents for their support in the many activities our students participate in throughout the year.
Youth Lobby Day in Springfield, hosted by the Democratic Women of the South Suburbs. 15 Rich 227 juniors attended. Students had the opportunity to visit both the House and Senate floors. Representative Debbie Meyers-Martin introduced them, and their names appeared on the boards.
