Good luck to our PT Team heading off to New York to compete against different JROTC Teams across the Nation in an intense competition!

They boarded a plane early this morning with our First Sergeant. Should be touching down later today!

God Bless, and Semper Fidelis

One of our best and brightest Cadets! She most definitely earned her place as a recipient!

We'll miss you after this year, Cadet Scovil.

Semper Fidelis, and God Bless.

@brettelliott36 Might be a bit late, but we do love one of our best and brightest! Cadet Olivia Scovil has been one of our most involved Cadets, and we'll certainly miss her after graduation.

Best of luck on the road ahead, and congratulations on the award! You most certainly earned it!

thank you to everyone at Richwoods for making this possible! Especially @RichwoodsJ and @brettelliott36
It’s good to have my brother home for the weekend!

[RichwoodsMCJROTC @RichwoodsJ]

@brooke_pierson @brettelliott36 We absolutely loved it! We wish your brother the best out there as he gives it his all. We aren't just a Unit, we're a Family.

Well, our Rifle Team is off to Bloomington tomorrow - 14:00 - to compete in one of their final competitions.

Good luck to C./ Gunnery Sergeant Adjodha and her Team! They've come very far this year, and we wish them the best as a Unit.

Semper Fidelis, and God Bless.

Just finished up the Male and Female Colorguards, as well as Squad Drill!

By far the best Color Guard I've seen was just conducted by our female cadets at 10:00 hours.

Very proud of the effort put forth by our Cadets!!

Arrived at Purdue last night around 8pm. Woke up at 5am, ready to compete against JROTC Teams from around the Country, from all different military branches!

Great thanks to our principal, Brett Elliott, our Marine Instructors, and all of our supporters!

Wish us luck!

Just in case you all are checking our social media feeds, I was going through a class on cultural bias this AM, and how our actions and attitudes are affected by the things we do and listen to. When you have time over the next two days, I would like you to try an exercise...

[RichwoodsMCJROTC @RichwoodsJ]

to show how your thoughts and actions are influenced.

1. Pick your favorite song or one you listen to often and get a copy of the uncensored lyrics.
2. Start a word document and paste the lyrics in there.
3. Write a paragraph that explains the meaning of the songs lyrics.

Happy New Years, Everyone!

The JROTC Program hopes to work even harder this year, deepening our ties to the local community and the Marines!!

Count that as our Resolution 😉

@billyrobison81 We definitely would've loved to have you! Last round was a Grudge Match. Marines vs. Students! You'd have been formidable!

Feel free to check us out next year!

Congratulations to the team that won the Laser Tag Tournament, JROTC Team #2 and Triumvirate Authorship!

The teams decided to split the money evenly out of respect for one another's organizations!

Now that's good sportsmanship!

We've gotten plenty of positive feedback over our Laser Tag tournament recently! Feel free to reach out to us if you've got any feedback concerning the Laser Tag tournament!

Shout out to Richwoods High School and @brettelliott36 for letting us throw this event, and a great deal of thanks to Karen Sparkman and the Cadets who volunteered to run concessions or work during Laser Tag!!

We couldn't have done this without you!

[RichwoodsMCJROTC @RichwoodsJ]

Hey, Everyone!

We wrapped up our first ever Laser Tag Tournament yesterday!

Overall the event was fantastic! The Cadets that took part in running the event did a spectacular job, and the teams that competed fought hard every step of the way!

[RichwoodsMCJROTC @RichwoodsJ]

Good Evening, Everyone!

Late breaking reminder that we'll be having our JROTC Laser Tag Tournament tomorrow, open to the public! So feel free to invite family and friends, Cadets! In fact, we encourage it!

Anyone who sees this post is more than welcome to join us!
