@ByMattWeyrich What people are missing about this story is the defensive player does not have to attempt A tag. Once the defensive player has the ball, the base path six feet wide is automatically created.
@stephenitalia93 Example: If a runner is on first base and the shortstop throws to second, the base path is the straight line from first to second. The runner must stay within three feet of that line to avoid being tagged.
