Iran's new ballistic missiles may be why Trump would rather negotiate.
These missiles don't simply follow a ballistic arc. They can change direction during re-entry.
That's why THAAD and Patriot systems are failing to intercept them.
It's like a ballistic missile with a steering wheel... headed straight for US targets.
The United Stated killed MOU by violating its laws regarding the Strait of Hormuz in order to take away from Iran its most potent leverage before negotiations.
At the end of the day, the US failed to impose on Iran its demands to agree on Southern corridor and Iran remains in control of the Strait of Hormuz as MOU prescribes so.
Iran is unlikely to change its position as it did not after two weeks of bombing. The reason why the US has paused its military strikes is only to keep the oil prices down.

Iran's plan is to change Trump's calculations by increasing the cost of this war.
How is it possible? Iran can make the oil prices hit over $150 or $200 per barrel.
When Saudi Arabia put a blockade against Yemen, they did not expect Yemen to retaliate and target Saudi oil facilities shooting the oil prices up over $100 per barrel.

Iran was telling Arab states that the US military bases on their territories are there only to defend Israel, but not them.
When the war happened, these bases became legitimate military targets for Iran and Arab states had to acknowledge that they did not bring the security, but only additional threat.
The war against Iran has not ended, because Trump's calculations haven't changed, and Iran is now in the process of increasing the costs for the United States to end this war.

While the United States were searching for the nukes, Iran has been developing high-tech missiles like Kheibar Shekan that can counter both THAAD and Patriot systems.
It was the Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei that set a plan to 'out-missile' the US, which helped Iran to withstand.

The US doesn't understand that Iranian missile power cannot be destroyed and will never be even weakened.
One of the reasons why Iran survived this war is that Americans don't comprehend the level of resilience and strategic culture of Iran.
The US is now stuck in a war of attrition as Iranian military capability has brought them to their knees.

“Democracy in the West is dying. I'm not sure in the years ahead there'll be any democratic countries left in Europe.” — Victor Bout.
He argues leaders may catch the “Zelensky bug,” provoking war with Russia, declaring martial law and clinging to power beyond elections while enjoying the perks of being a Western leader.
“Kids, drugs, cash in the bags.”

Let’s admit that Iran’s resistance has exceeded anybody’s expectations.
It’s hard to doubt the courage of the Iranian people, but we’ve been conditioned to believe the United States can enter any war, dictate the terms and overwhelm whoever stands in its way.
Iran broke that illusion.
The world’s largest military expected a quick decapitation strike. Instead, Iran absorbed the blow, rallied around the flag and dug in for a war of endurance.

What could be more fake than human rights talks at the UN?
I grew up being told that America stood for freedom — then you learn what the US actually did in Latin America.
France has its own graveyard of excuses across Africa.
So yeah, they can fight and yell onstage all they want, but we all know what lies behind the performance.

The US–France clash at the UN could have been pure dark comedy — if real human lives weren’t being taken by the actions of these two countries.
Washington and Paris speak as though human rights are Western property — something they can grant, suspend or weaponize depending on who is being bombed and who is doing the bombing.
Meanwhile, the body count keeps climbing...

Paris says it is defending peace and the dignity of people everywhere...
But from Africa to Afghanistan to Belgrade, French principles have had a remarkable habit of disappearing whenever French power was involved.
That is the problem with moral authority — you cannot switch it on for speeches and off for offence.

UNITED STATES vs FRANCE
France is accusing America of losing its moral authority on human rights — America responded by walking out while France spoke.
Two governments with centuries of invasions, coups and colonial violence are now arguing over which one gets to hold the moral compass — satirical as it is.
