@Cardinals trail 2-1. #May hit a batter in the top of the 4th, and that batter scored on a hit. So far, #May: 84--count 'em, 84--pitches through 4 innings, 2 hits, but 4 BB and 1 HBP. He blew a lead--again. The 2 runs were one on with a walk and one on HBP. Impressive outing.

#DustinMay is a disaster as a pitcher. @Cardinals got him a 1-0 lead after 1. So he promptly walked the bases loaded for Atlanta and then threw a wild pitch to allow Atlanta to tie. 1-1 in the second.

Where did @Cardinals get #Gastelum? He came in with a 4-0 lead and promptly threw a watermelon down the middle to give up a HR. Then he allowed a double to the third hitter. Maybe his arm would produce more velocity if he got a haircut. His hair nearly hits his jersey number.

#Marmol brought in #Stanek when @Cardinals were tied 3–3. Stanek can't pitch in a close game. He walked the first batter, then was late covering first on a bunt and let the second batter get on. He got hurt and left the game. But the Brewers have 2 on, 0 out.

What do @Cardinals see in #Crooks? He isn't strong defensively and can't hit. His BA is .150. Pagés' .220 BA isn't good--but it's 70 points higher than Crooks'. If Yadi could teach Herrera to throw, @Cardinals could carry 2 catchers (who else has 3?) and add a needed pitcher.

Well, #Libertore made it through 3 innings, with a lead. I was an inning off. Tonight he blew the 4th, allowing 6 runs, including 2 HR--5 of the runs after 2 outs--to put @Cardinals down 6-1. You can't defend against HRs. How long will @Cardinals let him do this to this team?
