Shifting gears, I just finished a @LegionFX rewatch in prep for the last season. Still my favorite Marvel production. Their only property I’m invested in. (Granted I’m still behind on the MCU.) I could say a lot, but this will just be a mini gush thread over the visuals.

@cowboybecsbop Apparently this is the highest demographic of theater goers under the age of 25 or so a non-kids movie has had in a long time. It’s bringing out a more youthful audience very intensely, so I imagine more kids might be part of it.

@MozillaVulpix Insane how many people completely miss what that movie was going for. It’s the ultimate culmination of Gohan and Piccolo’s character arcs, beginning from their training for the Saiyans.

Battle of Gods is my favorite Dragon Ball movie, but Super Hero is the best Toriyama movie.

@JordanLDurham I’ve always said, even pre-SH that between Goku/Vegeta/Gohan, Gohan has my favorite character arc in DBS. It’s just a shame it’s almost entirely something that happens off screen/is implicated. There’s a really great idea there I love and is shared with us, but not nearly enough.

@powerfulwizerd Pretty much any Sam Raimi movie. All of his movies are wacky as hell and rock hard. Evil Dead trilogy is classic, and Send Help was stupid good.
