Rachel Atherton announcing that she'll be racing @MTBworldseries in Lenzerheide has added an extra dollop of intrigue. Which there was already plenty of. The amount of intrigue involved now equates to the amount of stuff in the greatest portion of dirty fries ever assembled.
I'd also contest that given the price of everything bike-related these days (π¨βπ¦³) that Β£38 feels like superb value for money. We all know where this is now heading... DH bike shopping. FFS π€¦ββοΈ
I have massively missed uplift days and amidst all the E-bike fuss cannot recommend them enough. When I'm eyeing up other men's shoulders thinking 'that one might fit' later on tonight I may reappraise this tweet.
I am deep, deep inside a Hot Version YT hole. And I have so many questions... the main one is what is the significance of that woman in the leopard print get up?!
@lulahwithcon Apologies - Balanche did indeed slip my mind. Long day. Bruni won Worlds last season. It's extremely tight at the top but World Champ vs. World Cup Overall title winner was what I was driving at.
Right, now, I would say this BUT... here's why I think that we're in for a vintage season of @MTBworldseries Downhill based from what I saw at pre-season testing in Lourdes:
@BigHitTopperz@MTBworldseries Best place is GCN+ which gets you everything plus all the road and 'cross. Plus docs etc. All Elite races will be live on Eurosport. And we're doing Junior DHI and U21 XC free-to-air on GCN+ without a sub. Think it works out at about Β£3.30 p/month for the sub
I don't think there are many features on DH tracks that look as different on camera compared to real life as The Wall does in Lourdes. Holy God she's steep, ha?!
