Here's my message to young people: you wouldn't let a bunch of old people decide what music you're going to listen to or what clothes you're going to wear – so don't let them decide your future.

Hey @EuniceDame I’m a tactical voter with @MVTFWD. My priority is: NHS & Social Care. Is this a priority for you?
Pls fix politics so I won’t have to vote tactically again.

@ReconnectingOx @OxfordshireLab1 LTNs are very divisive. They create a sort of social apartheid where affluent neighbourhoods become no-go areas. These LTNs displace traffic, increase congestion, journey times, and thereby cause more pollution. They're also a terrible idea for social cohesion.
@biciorejon Truly fantastic. I did 52:45 in 2019, and you need to be fit, motivated and a little lucky. Best UK time ever, enjoy it as long as possible.
I have posted this before but ..
26 years ago, a gunman entered
Dunblane Primary School in Scotland,
killing 16 kids and a teacher. The UK
govt responded by enacting tight gun
control legislation. In the 9400+ days
since, there have been a total of O
school shootings in the UK.
I've always admired Karl's no nonsense, just get on with it approach and here he is demonstrating that very approach while answering questions about his recent Iditarod Trail Invitational.

@KingstonCycling Will there be a camera installed to check that cars don't turn into Tolworth Road during peak hours?
When are the 'peak hours'? That road was a death trap for cyclists before the bollard.
To add to our concern, the Councillors' vote was against @RBKingston officer recommendations. With the 1st phase removed (Tolworth Rd opened up to motor vehicles), nearby roads such as Thornhill Rd won't benefit from the cancelled 2nd phase either & will remain a busy cut-through
📢 Surbiton Councillors have voted to REMOVE the 1st phase of making the roads around Hook Road safer for those walking & cycling. There's less than 48 hours for locals to add their name to a petition to ask Councillors to revisit their decision https://t.co/kLNPlXsP3d
@B1RDMN I've done it 5 times. Definitely a race at the pointy end. Last time it was 52 hours nonstop. First 220km in 6hr20minutes. Route isn't particularly scenic as others have said. Great atmosphere along the route, whether you're racing or touring. My motivation last time was sub 50hr
