It was a very hot July on the RLB Dashboard! ☀️
In the past 30 days:
- Revenue totaled $14,763,483
- 25,733,978 ethereum:0x046eee2cc3188071c02bfc1745a6b17c656e3f3d were bought & burnt
- Buyback value amounted to $1,691,764
Did you know $RLB launched with a 5B supply?
There is now 1,607,111,800 left.
1.78B was torched in a single transaction in June 2023. The rest gets bought back and burned roughly once an hour.
At the current pace, there will be less than 1 billion left by May 2028.
Every $RLB is in one of two places.
On Rollbit — 72%
- the vault: 973M (373M staked in the lottery)
- the cashier: 47M, pays withdrawals
- the furnace: 140M, buys 40k RLB an hour and burns it
In people's own wallets — 28%
- half hasn't moved in over a year
Me and my pal Claude checked 20,245 self-custody $RLB wallets to work out roughly how much of the supply is dead on chain.
The metric: a wallet is "dead" if it's made no outgoing tx AND received no real deposit in 12+ months (bot dust ignored).

A token burned $25.8M in the last year
- 100% distributed, 32.30% supply left
- $220M in revenue in the last year
- $3.3M in the last year given back to holders via lottery
- $2.8M in token value given to NFT holders

Learned early that keeping the money is harder than making it.
Anyone can catch a run. Holding it is the skill.
This is why i personally rotate into watches real quick & you should too
think this is too simplistic of a framing on buybacks
buybacks do, mathematically, work. objectively, hard to argue with that if there isn't constant emissions or shady behavior, they absorb sell pressure and make buy pressure more effective. but yes, the trust premium is perhaps the most significant part of token price and if you don't have that trust premium, it can take years to buy out low conviction sellers/emissions
I actually think $rlb has been one of the best case studies possible here for a few reasons. Widely hated and distrusted, relatively dead token, consistent buybacks for years. And if you've followed the discord, you would see that price is grinding up, every large seller is known, and supply in large and small wallets has considerably decreased. sell pressure has eased off to very little, and i expect it does well price wise the next year if revenue is steady. it'll never be a top performer because it's unlikely it'll ever have a trust premium without significant changes and it isn't fully onchain, but a good case study? definitely
a more popular recent example is of course $pump. the very large unlock was a non-issue, and in fact price is up considerably since then. you can assume most sellers hedged, and to some degree, the pump team has been showing they're willing to hustle, which perhaps is rebuilding a trust or speculative risk premium. at some point, considering every competitor has fucked themselves and pmf is clear, it does become a lucrative long
best way to think about buybacks is going to be more complex, but honestly not that tough. something like : 1) is the biz growing or shrinking? 2) is there a trust premium? 3) what are emissions like? 4) is the team aligned with the token or dumping every unlock? 5) how much of total supply has been bought back? At which point, assuming similar revenue, does it reach a tipping point and price goes up?
I think the era of value accrual to tokens via buybacks and other means is quite exciting, and it comes off as a bit goofy to downplay one of the better improvements to tokenomics the past couple years as we head into better times

FairGambling a company that slanders their competition for having "bias" in the industry
Ironic they choose to exclude Rollbit from their Weekly World Cup wager data...
In the last week $3,105,005.19 was wagered on the World Cup at Rollbit
Placing Rollbit 4th on the leaderboard for the week 🤔
