We keep getting this question, so here it is again.
RFQ gives you a price when you ask for it.
RFX keeps the price on-chain all the time, so any app, wallet or router can read it and trade instantly.

Why RFX, not RFQ
RFQ only quotes on request, and without a Jupiter integration nobody sees it.
RFX is our upgrade of that layer. Same fair price from Phoenix, same hedge on Phoenix, but the price is always on-chain. Any app can trade it instantly, with no request and no sign-in. Every swap is checked against Phoenix, and if our server stops, the pool closes itself.
RFQ waits to be asked. RFX is always there.
Nasdaq closes on Friday. The perp doesn't.
That's why Riflex pools keep quoting through the weekend. Every second our publisher posts a fresh price on-chain, derived from the live perp mark and the token's share ratio.
Every swap re-reads that mark inside the same transaction, so a price that drifts more than 1% from it simply can't fill.
Outside US hours the reference is thinner, so we add a 30 bps premium and cap each quote at a smaller share of the pool.
A keeper keeps the perp short in line with inventory around the clock. If the perp's weekend price gets pinned at the edge of its band, the program stops filling on its own.
@Numerooo0 Thanks for asking @Numerooo0! Dashboard with all of it is coming out today. Volume, trades, pools, everything on-chain so you can verify it yourself.
What happens before you sign on Riflex.
The fair price is rebuilt from the live perp mark and the token's on-chain share ratio.
Your swap is simulated against current state. Cost is shown in dollars, not a rate, and a minimum received is enforced on-chain.
In case you missed it. Jupiter's router never calls a market maker's server. It reads on-chain accounts, caches them and computes every quote locally.
This article explains what that means for who gets the flow, and why we put our price on-chain instead of behind an RFQ.

The top row is Riflex pools. The rest trade through Jupiter at the best route.
Price live.
With RFQ, a price exists only when someone asks for it. Ours is always on-chain, refreshed every second, and expires on its own if it isn't.
Every swap checks it against the live perp mark in the same transaction. Stale or off by more than 1%, and the pool simply doesn't fill.
Not paused.
xStocks are Token-2022 tokens, and the issuer can pause them. A paused token can't move.
The app reads the mint before you sign, and our program reads it again inside the swap. If it's paused, the trade never happens. No stuck tokens.
Share ratio stable.
One xStock isn't always one share. The issuer can change the ratio on-chain for splits and dividends.
Riflex prices per share from the perp and converts with the live ratio. If a change is scheduled, you see the new ratio and the date before you trade.
Most venues ask you to trust the price. An RFQ quote is signed off-chain and only checked when the trade lands.
RFX works the other way. The price lives on-chain, so everything about your trade can be checked before you sign. Four checks, every time.
