Don Roberts, an RRI fellow, has over 30 years of experience as a financial services executive, investment banker, and equity professional, and over 35 years of experience in the resource sector. He’s worked as an adjunct professor in forest management at the University of British Columbia, a visiting scholar of clean energy at Peking University, a mentor through the Pierre Trudeau Foundation, and sits on several profit and non-profit boards of directors/advisors.

Additionally, in 2013, as the vice-chair of Wholesale Banking and the managing director in investment banking at CIBC World Markets Inc., he founded and led the bank’s cross-functional renewable energy and clean technology team.

Foncier : Lancement à Kinshasa du projet Appui aux droits et moyens de subsistance des communautés autochtones et locales pour le développent, le climat et la conservation. Financé par la Suède, ce projet vise notamment à sécuriser 500.000 ha des terres et forêts, fournir des moyens de subsistance à environ 5000 ménages dans 5 provinces de la RDC. Le projet travaillera avec les communautés ciblées d'une part, et les autorités gouvernementales d'autre part, pour piloter ces outils et développer les capacités nécessaires au sein des parties prenantes pour mettre en œuvre le SIF dans les provinces pilotes sélectionnées dans le cadre de ce projet à savoir :   le Kwilu, le Kongo-Central, l'Équateur, la Tshopo et le Sud-Ubangi. @RightsResources @SolangeBandiaky @pkipalu @Conaref_rdc, @SweAmbDRC
