Does Britain really value great design, green design and innovative building techniques when it comes to large scale housing developments? Culturally the entire system seems to think this is absolutely fine! Is it?
@fiona_pancheri@RobertJenrick@Conservatives We’ve certainly not built enough houses! We have huge housing shortage. The infrastructure needed to ensure new communities are sustainable is a valid argument and one which is protected in planning. But to say we’ve built enough is very wrong indeed
@Allyson67178293 The original point was saying the ex housing minister shouldn’t have supported to new garden towns. Garden towns offer a new opportunity to provide serviced plots at scale and educate ordinary people to procure their own affordable, high quality, carbon neutral homes.
