Federal Jury Convicts Former Correctional Officer of Civil Rights Violation that Resulted in Inmate’s Death
“This guilty verdict holds this former correctional officer accountable for her shocking failure to protect a vulnerable inmate in her care,” said @AAGDhillon. “By ignoring the victim’s serious medical needs, the defendant betrayed the most basic duties of her position and violated the victim’s civil rights. The Civil Rights Division has no tolerance for such abuses.”

Justice Alito penned a solo dissent from the Supreme Court's refusal to hear a case involving a Students for Life club whose school blocked flyers featuring "Defund Planned Parenthood" signs, arguing the Court should clarify when schools may restrict student speech.
Five years ago today I called out Fox Corp live on air, then did several independent reports on how they’d become compromised:
⚫️Fox had threatened to fire me for covering the story they assigned me to cover, all because the true narrative was different from the “safe” narrative they had anticipated.
⚫️The true narrative was that four times more lives were being saved at a hospital that used a COVID treatment protocol that the CDC/FDA recommended against using.
⚫️Fox had been pushing its reporters to only tell people to do what the CDC/FDA said to do, rather than pursuing journalism which is: Go out and see what people are actually doing and cover what’s actually working and not working.
⚫️So when Fox sent me to a hospital to cover COVID treatment, they expected me to report the copy/paste version of what CDC/FDA said to tell people was happening.
⚫️When I adhered to journalism and covered what was actually happening there, Fox issued a letter for my files, lying about me, threatening to fire me, and they put me on a social media blackout—no posting anything unless it is “safe news” approved by management before the post.
⚫️All because I approached a COVID story the same way I approached crime stories: Go out there, be curious, ask the people’s questions, report what’s actually happening.
⚫️When Fox crossed the line and later sent their HR lady in Atlanta after me to tell me standing up for free speech is not something I’m allowed to do, I knew it was time to leave that compromised company. (I’ve posted all the receipts from this showdown in the past and still have more receipts I haven’t posted.)
⚫️I left the company and then found out there were Fox Corp employees all over the nation going through similar stories. I heard from staff at other news companies—ABC, CBS, etc.—with very similar stories.
⚫️It was much easier for me to leave and sound the alarm as a single girl who didn’t have a family to provide for. My heart goes out to those who have not left and are still within the compromised machine at news companies across the country.
⚫️May you find a way to take a stand, even if from the inside. Never compromise your conscience. Take a stand—even a small one—and God will protect you. Life’s too short not to.
⚫️We’re not in the pandemic anymore, but there are countless news stories where the corporations just don’t have the spine to tell the truth, and they’re ready to persecute their reporters for sticking with journalism.
⚫️Yes, COVID treatment was not the only story Fox was compromised on. I went on to cover how they hid anomalies related to elections to help viewers believe elections are always perfect. I covered how they acted as a PR team for vaccine companies rather than seeking answers to their viewers’ concerns about them. And I covered how they used crime coverage to deceptively pit races against each other in an effort to increase ratings.
⚫️I thank @JamesOKeefeIII and @Project_Veritas from the bottom of my heart for picking up my story and sending it so viral. I do believe it made at least a small difference in challenging news outlets to get back to honesty over “safety.”
🚨 The Supreme Court will decide whether noncitizens detained under a mandatory-detention immigration statute are constitutionally entitled to a bond hearing after prolonged detention, and what procedures due process requires.
A district court determined a delivery driver was an independent contractor and thus ineligible to bring his wage-and-hour action. In an unusual, short, and quickly issued unpublished opinion, the Eighth Circuit reverses. He's an employee and can bring his claim.
A woman w/ a condition that makes getting vaccines extremely risky. She had a permanent exemption from the MMR vaccine from her employer. In 2021, she worked 100% remotely, and requested a COVID-19 vaccine exemption. Denied without reason. Highly respected Judge Erickson reverses
The USDOT has authority over both the FMCSA and FAA.
How many pilots licenses have been issued to “Mr No Name Given?
I’m going to venture to say zero!
So why are we issuing them CDL’s?
How many charter certificates have been issued to aircraft owners named “No Name Given”?
Bet the answer is zero
More people die in truck accidents than plane crashes @SecDuffy! Shut them down!

And yet another state championship title stolen from a phenomenal female athlete by an average boy.
In the past decade, boys pretending to be girls have "won" girls' state titles in New York, West Virginia, California, Massachusetts, Oregon, Washington, Connecticut, Maine, Minnesota, New Hampshire, and Nevada.
They have taken state championship medals in Vermont, Utah, Colorado, Virginia, and Kansas.
Boys who don't pretend to be girls have also "won" girls' state titles in Massachusetts, New York, Iowa, Indiana, and Pennsylvania.
Even though "it's not happening," everywhere it's allowed to happen, it happens.
A fragile thaw in Hormuz but timing and sequence now matter
▶️Shipowners rushing to reposition vessels and markets are rallying, yet insurers for now are holding firm on high war‑risk premiums, insisting on ‘solid evidence’ of lasting safety before lowering rates
▶️Industry bodies warn that mine clearance and a return to the formal Traffic Separation Scheme are essential, as Iran’s blockade has permanently altered regional risk and demonstrated its leverage over the strait
▶️While a pause in hostilities will free stranded mariners and boost tanker and bulk markets, the sector sees this as a fragile reprieve rather than a return to normality, with elevated risk now embedded in long‑term decision‑making

The NGL business is one of the most logistically complex segments of the energy industry. To really make sense of it you need to step back and look at the big picture. That’s exactly what our new U.S. NGL Infrastructure Map provides — a comprehensive view of the entire NGL value chain.

🚨 THREAD: What do Mike Pence, Mike Pompeo, John Bolton, and Elaine Chao have in common? They were all paid by a Marxist-Islamist Iran group that was designated as terrorist until 2012.
No, this is not a joke.
Mojahedin-e-Khalq (MEK) was founded by leftist Islamists to oppose the western-backed Pahlavi, and participated in his 1979 overthrow. Khomeini barred MEK afterwards. MEK was implicated in multiple bombings, including that of Americans, and remained an openly armed group until 2003.
Since they got de-listed as a terrorist organization in 2012 on procedural grounds, MEK and their fronts have been actively recruiting US politicians selling themselves as a moderate alternative to Khomeini. But RAND Corporation says MEK meets the qualifications for a cult, citing criteria such as forcing their members to work 16+ hour days and forced divorces.
Polls of the Iranian-American community shows that they do NOT accept Rajavi, MeK's leader, as legitimate, with a 46-point net disapproval - numbers nearly as bad as the existing regime.
As Pence's former Chief of Staff, Marc Short, has already weighed against Trump deal, it's helpful to recall this.
Receipts below. As always, patience as I pull the thread together.👇
Why are we only finding commercial driver’s licenses from California and New York issued to people literally named “Mr. No Name Given”?
These CDLs are being handed out to illegal immigrants, complete with the absurd “No Name Given” placeholder printed right on the license.
How does this happen in only two sanctuary states while the rest of the country doesn’t seem to be participating?
Why would Arkansas tolerate such garbage and expose their people to such a hazard?
Why hasn't the USDOT shut down their ability to issue any CDLs for such an egregious abuse?
Have you seen these issued by any other state?

The Euro Nato Joint Jet Pilot Training (ENJJPT) program is based at Sheppard AFB in Wichita Falls, TX.
It trains pilots from NATO countries from zero hours up until assignment to a fighter. I was lucky to be an instructor in the T-6.
It’s full of various European students, Instructors & Commanders. While a Euro can’t be the Wing Commander, every leadership position below that is open to them. Ops Group Commanders were German & Italian while I was there, with Flight Commanders from all the countries. It was a lot of fun; each country put on a party for their national holiday.
Anyway, the Euros LOVED to buy big trucks & go out to these kind of places. The instructors rented big houses & would road trip anytime they got the chance. As part of their curriculum, the students did a field trip to D.C., but they’d venture as far as they could go on the weekends, too.
I recall an Italian Instructor telling me how amazed he was with a garbage disposal in the sink. When he went home, he took one with him & installed it himself…he thought he might be the only one in Italy with one.
Getting an ENJJPT assignment was a big deal, and something they all competed for. Nights in Dallas, or a road trip to New Orleans was a huge deal. Cross Country training weekends meant expanding their horizons & seeing the whole country.
They do love it here. I loved to see it, just as I’m excited to take my kids to Europe.
"Trans" children do not exist. No one is born in the "wrong body"
Every child should be taught they are perfect the way they are. There is nothing they need to "fix" with hormones and surgery.
They do not need to have a certain body or to be a "boy" or a "girl" in order to have that unique personality you have mentioned.
To say that they do is not only sexist, it is psychologically abusive to young malleable children who quite honestly, have no idea what they're talking about when it comes to sex, sexuality, and reproduction.
