@rschmied_csco I installed bare metal a week ago. Had to reset the BIOS since I couldn't get the boot manager prompt without a password. Installed on a UCS C240, had CIMC access to mount the reflplat ISO. Nice to have but @EVE_NG_TEAM is still my main lab platform.
I'm planning on being around the #CiscoLive Cisco certification lounge tomorrow 11 til 12. Tuesday 1 til 230 and the world of solutions. Wednesday 1030 til 1 and world of solutions. If you see me anywhere else, stop me and say hi!
The speakers for the NSO session hooked everyone up with the CCNP SPCOR ebook, practice test and practice lab voucher. Super nice guys and exceptional knowledge and insights into the SP exam. #CiscoLive
@andylapteff Simply put, fat burn is done at lower heart rates, you're not tapping into glycogen stores at higher heart rates. I find walking on a treadmill, 7% incline at 2.5 mph and my heart rate is about 120 bpm. Then determine how many calories/hour burned, 3500 calories is 1lb of fat.
@IvanIva29134106@HankYeomans Sounds to me like you'd find some value working in the VAR space for a while. There's definitely a lot of organizations that don't need a CCIE on staff, but benefit from having access to one when they need it. It's more the knowledge than the certification itself.
@IvanIva29134106@HankYeomans I disagree. A lot of customers I've worked with/on need the guidance of the CCIE level when it comes to architecture and you only get that if you know networking really well. If you want to be "another" net eng, cool. But there's more to it than "keep the lights on".
