A Domain Expansion is achieved through an overwhelming sense of self and represents the ultimate manifestation of a sorcerer’s ego.
Sukuna’s divine feat of achieving an Open Barrier is representative of his ability to project his sense of self onto the world.
Megumi’s incomplete domain represents his half-hearted sense of ego, his overwhelming sense of self isnt complete because he’s a selfless person, and its shown via his Domain buffing his Shikigami and technique. He has an emotional connection to his Shikigami and fights WITH them.
Yuji has no overwhelming sense of self. His Domain was achieved through an overwhelming sense of selflessness. His Innate Domain manifests as his home town, and requires manual activation of his sure hit because he believes in giving others a chance at redemption. He is compassionate and we literally get shown a buddha statue and his mudra is that of a boddhisatva who delays his own enlightenment to guide others to enlightenment.
His Domain doesnt need a name because it goes against the very nature of what a Domain is.
And this is expanded on in Modulo with his self-isolation and “old soldiers never die, they fade away”. He has no overwhelming sense of self, he echoes Gojo’s wish to be left behind because thats the role he gave himself. Its also why he vows to fully train the next generation, track down every HR lineage and turn himself into a Curses Object. His role is to guide others.
Thus his Domain doesnt require a name.
I think Yuji's Domain is intentionally nameless and formless/focusless.. All Yuji wanted was the checkmate move & he got that..
This is the same Gege who gave Hakari a power system within a power system. 💀 If he wanted to give Yuji's Domain a name and distinct intended interior, he would have..
Rather, we should think about why he didn't & what the narrative/symbolic implications of that were..
Effectively I do think Yuji's Domain was just a variation of Malevolent Shrine, but more catered to his own mindset.
Without thinking about the shape or anything else, Yuji just used it like a blade held at Sukuna's neck while they talked. Having a Soul Slash ready is all that was on his mind. That's why I think it took the shape of irl places from Yuji's memory. His BF amped subconscious just filled in all the gaps for him.
Since Gege ended without going into it or naming it, the safest bet is likely what it is.. I think the no name or shape are intentional as additional layers to convey Yuji's intent. All he wanted was that 1 thing. The Sure Hit. Nothing else mattered to him. Correctly forming, shaping & naming his Domain could all come later, after the threat is deat with.
In the future Yuji's Domain could get a name & could change significantly. I don't think he has one now. He didn't give it one yet. He made a literal sure hit & thats it.
It reflects his personality on top of his intent too. In contrast to Megumi, who needs all the meticulous details etc. Yuji just instinctively goes for the home run, like Gojo said.

@NonEvoluto Anche io sono scontento, però c'è da dire una cosa: perché con quella formula (prestito + diritto di riscatto) non lo ha preso nessuno in A e nessun club di alta serie B?
From the matches I did see from Hutchinson, I really like him profile wise. Has an insane left-foot, is very agile and reminds me a lot of Phil Foden profile wise.
I won’t judge until I made my report and seen him under Amorim, the majority said that players like Musah and Chukwueze needed to be sold, and they are Amorim’s best players until now.
Sometimes it’s not about the big names, but how a manager profiles you. A technical player like Omari that’s not starting for a mid-table Premier League team, can be a COMPLETE different player in an attacking system with 60%+ possession.
A technical player like him would benefit in receiving the ball in more advanced areas. His teams Nottingham Forest and Ipswich, average a possession of 40-45% in the Premier League, and when Ipswich averaged 53% in the Championship, Omari had 16 G/A.
And don’t forget, Amorim has seen him play (and score) AGAINST him, and if I trust someone to judge a player on if he’s the right fit for his system, it’s Amorim.
Gyökeres only performed in the Championship when Amorim requested him.
Gioca a ritmi altissimi. L’ultima gemma purissima uscita da La Masia.
