@Oilfield_Rando Is this 1.6% accurate? I know that in Texas, an H4 child of an H1B Visa holder that has been in Texas 1 year is considered a Texas resident (for college admission purporses). That makes the "internat'l student" percentage artificially low. And Indians are often counted as Asian.

Selling the business may have been the plan to fund his retirement. Monthly payments may not have been sufficient.

@AwakenedOutlaw I am a chronic over-thinker, but aren't airline routes bid on and awarded? All of those routes in the airline systems would be overturned; what a huge mess for the non-sanctuary cities to manage. Maybe the threat alone will do the trick, because this would be a complete cluster.

@WallStreetApes Property taxes in Texas go up each year, but the Homeowners Insurance has tripled. We are told its due to tornadoes in our zip code. Our mortgage is less than the combined cost of taxes & insurance.
