2024’s heading to college to play soccer:
It’s late April. I am going to put this out there for you to bookmark if you are on this platform.
On August 1st there will be a time of reckoning.
You either put the work in or didn’t over the summer as an incoming freshman.
Unfortunately, this is also the first time that your coaches can “officially” assess where you are as a player and whether you like it or not, you will be judged by them.
Perception is your reality and first impressions are typically the most lasting one.
So in mid September, when you start conference play, and you find yourself not traveling or getting minutes, refer back to this bookmark and ask yourself “what did I do today to make my team better tomorrow? Were my actions worthy of my coaches and teammates trust? Did I 100% invest my energies into making myself the best version that I can be?”
Trust me, on day 1 your coaches will know what your “commitment” is.
i am extremely excited to announce that i will be continuing my athletic and academic career at a division 1 program at troy university! thank you to all of my teammates, friends, family, and coaches for making this possible! #gotrojans#24livestoseeanother4@ECNLgirls
