A vintage road sign at #GreatFencote was re-installed by our #HighwaysHeroes after it fell down over 7 years ago. After being found, it was re-installed free of charge as part of Ringway’s commitment to local communities and social responsibility programmes @northyorkscc
Whilst out gritting, two of our #HighwaysHeroes Eugene Mangan and Gary Metcalfe from #Thirsk were thanked for their help moving a vehicle after a small collision due to recent icy conditions. They were praised for the kindness shown to the shaken member of public @northyorkscc
Our #HighwaysHeroes have completed a job at short notice when the parapets at #Goathland Railway Bridge were damaged by vehicles. A cantilevered scaffold was erected to minimise disruption to the railway while the parapet and railings were reinstated @northyorkscc
Today our #HighwaysHeroes completed a scheme at #HuttonRudby ahead of programme. New 300mm drainage was installed under difficult site conditions, with @northyorkscc praising the smooth scheme management given the lengthy diversion and duration of the closure.
Our #HighwaysHeroes have delivered a large footway resurfacing scheme at Maple Drive #Scarborough ahead of programme and through the challenges of lockdown. #Northyorkscc were ‘very impressed with the way that Ringway planned and managed the job. They exceeded expectations’.
Our #HighwaysHeroes recently completed a footway resurfacing scheme at Bullamoor Road, #Northallerton. This scheme required great coordination with utilities and nightworks to complete the scheme successfully in a sensitive area, outside the Friarage Hospital. Well done team!
