Talent is so freaking fascinating. Like, how does it work?! How does it come to be?

If you have a talent please comment and explain what it feels like! Math, athletics, art, building, music, anything.

I have a natural aptitude for movement but I couldn’t tell you why. I can only say that whenever I saw someone do something athletic, I would get a feel through my entire body. Just sitting there I could almost feel the reproduction of the movement cascading through. I KNEW that it would/should feel like that. Then I’d go outside and could generally reproduce it. At the height of my athletic career I’d have dreams about an event and I’d wake up in the morning and feel tangible changes in how my body performed it.

From what I can, tell there are connections in my brain that, when fired, have some kind of automatic pathway through the central nervous system.

It’s like a semi-automatic, pre-created neural pathway or something.

I also can’t watch injuries happen (like replays in TV). Have extremely adverse visceral reactions to them.

I often wonder if people who have aptitude in things like math have the same feeling. Seems like they see things and it just flows and makes sense.
