Last week students in RSD participated in Salad Bar Etiquette lessons, covering food safety practices at lunchtime and learning about all the delicious local fruits & veggies they’ll find in their cafeteria! So much fun to participate in these lessons!

Orange Salsa Fresca, the February Harvest of the Month recipe, was a hit in our cafeterias this month...so delicious and beautiful. We send gratitude to local farmers who grew these ingredients and the food service staff who prepared it for our students! @RioChildNutr@RioSDLive
