Un dato fascinante sobre esa transición religiosa es que los vikingos “tradujeron” el cristianismo a su propio código guerrero para poder entenderlo. Es por eso que los primeros misioneros y reyes presentaron a Jesús como “Rey guerrero invencible” que venció a la muerte y la cruz pasó a verse como un amuleto de victoria. En vez de mostrarlo como un hombre inocente que se deja crucificar.
Sobre el "Ragnarök" y el Juicio Final, los misioneros usaron la mitología nórdica a su favor explicándoles que el apocalipsis vikingo (el Ragnarök, donde el mundo se destruía y los dioses morían) ya había pasado, y que el Dios cristiano era el creador que venía a ordenar el nuevo mundo.
Para complementar esa idea del Ragnarök y el Dios creador, hay un poema escandinavo medieval llamado Völuspá (La profecía de la vidente), que en las últimas estrofas, después de describir la muerte de Odín, Thor y la destrucción del mundo, el poema dice que de las cenizas emerge una tierra verde y hermosa y que entonces "llega el Poderoso desde arriba, el que lo gobierna todo".

118 years ago today, an asteroid exploded over Siberia, flattening an estimated 80 million trees.

On June 30, 1908, an asteroid or comet roughly 30 meters (100 feet) across, entered Earth’s atmosphere and exploded high above the remote Tunguska region of Siberia. The blast leveled approximately 80 million trees across 2,150 square kilometers (830 square miles).

The explosion is estimated to have released energy roughly 1,000 times greater than the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima. Had it occurred over a major metropolitan area, an entire city could have been devastated. Fortunately, it happened in one of the most remote regions on Earth, and no confirmed fatalities are known.

Every year on June 30, the global space community marks Asteroid Day, commemorating the Tunguska event and reminding us that near-Earth objects (NEOs) pose a real, natural hazard. Detecting, tracking, and characterizing these objects is one of the best ways to protect our planet.

That’s why The Planetary Society funds astronomers searching for NEOs. Investing in planetary defense today helps safeguard our world for future generations. 🌎

長時間座ると腸腰筋（股関節の奥にある深層筋）が縮んだまま固まる。すると骨盤が前に引っ張られ、連動して臀筋（お尻の筋肉）が正常に使えなくなる。臀筋が死ぬと腰椎（腰の骨）が代わりに負荷を引き受ける。腰が痛くなる。胸椎（背中の骨）が固まり、肩と首が代償を始める。

これは意志や姿勢の問題ではない。座るとい���行為が引き起こす、構造的な機能不全だ。
