@aahseiyt The original tweet said you can’t compare the two, and it’s correct. Emmitt Till was butchered beyond recognition by vengeful, outspoken racists. Breonna Taylor was caught in crossfire between police and the man she was with. It’s still tragic, but it wasn’t racist.

@jhaskinscabrera I have a genuine question Jennifer. Given the measurement of “new deaths” is dynamic (i.e. could have occurred on other days), how useful are the charts that show new deaths per day? Maybe it was always nuanced, but I feel like it could mislead a lot of people if they don’t know
