@elonmusk Imagine making a cocktail with a mix of cheap juice, soda, and just a splash of expensive rum. Even though the rum is only 1% of the drink, the total cost of the cocktail is set by the price of that premium rum. That’s how marginal pricing works on the grid.

@elonmusk The standing charges are ridiculous, part the reason prices per kWh are so high is because of marginal pricing. If natural gas is used for peak load following, the wholesale price gets set at the price of natural gas even though it’s a mix of renewables and nuclear.

@StarlingBank Hi there, I think something may be wrong with your app. I'm trying to access my card details and the app is saying "Card data not available" my internet connection is fine and I've tried mobile data. Also having a problem with the payment authorisation not working.

@StarlingBank Thanks for the speedy reply, I'm using version 2.92.0 (1919) (what it says in the app anyway). I'm using iOS 16.1.2. I've checked the app store for an update but there's none available incase that was the problem.
