In flood-hit Panjab where govt failed to take preventive steps, farmers of Sultanpur Lodhi achieved something unprecedented.

They pooled tractors, money & labour, and built an 8km bundh. When CM was enjoying idli-dosa, farmers spent ₹9 lakh on diesel to kept a round-the-clock vigil and strengthen the bundh. Their efforts saved 4,200 acres of crops from Beas floods.
