While we acknowledge and appreciate their sacrifices, we must also continue to pray for their victory and safety. These brave CJTF members, alongside our gallant troops, stand daily between our communities and the darkness of terrorism. They leave their homes, face danger head-on, and spend sleepless nights so the rest of us can sleep in peace.
They are not superhumans. They are ordinary people like us, with fears, families, dreams, and emotions. Yet, out of courage and love for their land, they chose the difficult path of defending our towns and protecting Borno State with the help of Almighty.
Our prayers, encouragement, and support in every reasonable way matter more than we may realize. A kind word, a prayer, and community support can strengthen the spirit of those risking everything on the frontlines.
May Almighty continue to protect and guide our gallant CJTF and Military troops. May He grant them victory over tΒ£rrorism, heal the wounded, forgive the fallen heroes, and bring lasting peace to Nigeria, Borno State, and Damboa.
Respect to every brave soul defending the land. π³π¬π€²

Many motorists in Nigeria assume that once they are stopped by FRSC officials, the quickest solution is to "settle" the matter on the spot. In some cases, people part with β¦50,000, β¦100,000, or even more.
But that's not how the law works.
Traffic violations come with officially approved fines and every driver should be aware of them. Some examples include:
Driving without a valid driver's licence β β¦10,000
Vehicle producing excessive smoke β β¦5,000
No fire extinguisher in the vehicle β β¦3,000
Using a mobile phone while driving β β¦4,000
Driving without fastening a seat belt β β¦2,000
Exceeding the speed limit β β¦5,000
Most importantly, these fines are not meant to be handed directly to any FRSC officer on the roadside. Payments should be made through the government's approved channels.
If you're stopped for a traffic offence, ask the officer to state the offence, confirm the official penalty and follow the proper payment process.
Being informed about your rights and responsibilities can save you money and help promote accountability on our roads.

According to a viral video circulating on social media, a woman in Edo State allegedly threw her 5-year-old child into a river after reportedly being told that the child was responsible for her inability to conceive again following multiple miscarriages.
Reports further indicate that the child had been unable to walk or stand independently despite being five years old. The woman was allegedly convinced by a traditional spiritualist that the child was a "spiritual obstacle" to future pregnancies after countless miscarriages and was advised to get rid of the child. Tragically, she reportedly acted on that advice.
Pathetic!!!
