@andrewhesselden @IABCEME ...and now we are back to the conditioning I mentioned. Most people expect that this is the case - and that is in truth a sad development.
@andrewhesselden @IABCEME What's more interesting IMO is that we have now been condtioned to travel being cheap with mediocre service. Now the prices (also Ryan and Easy) are on the rise. The question is now more about I'm willing to put up with.
@andrewhesselden @IABCEME Ultimately that's supply/demand in play here. You can also argue that Ryanair and the like have done a tremendous job at setting customer expectations. "We get you from A to B for cheap - We make the rules - Deal with it".
@andrewhesselden @IABCEME Sad but true. I wonder if that is one of the reasons why we are that much more impressed when we come across well executed internal campaigns? Also, how much longer can we afford this in a connected and dispersed world where the gig-economy rules?
@andrewhesselden @IABCEME Agreed. Anchoring this at the highest possible place is key...and then the importance of scaling efforts becomes even bigger - eg. change champs.
@andrewhesselden 72% will have the opportunity for mobile work. Still, this creates challenges and opportunities for comms. Data here: https://t.co/OveYTLawWr
@benschlindwein @Katha_Pe @Intranetizen I cannot speak specifically for the two, but the pattern I have observed is that you have a set of "core" tools that are available throughout the organisation. Adoption may vary and other solutions may see more traction in parts of the org. Comm flow through core tools.
@Geert_Nijs Like with all social media the most important thing is to be genuine. Values and personality should show in the posts. 10 years into the "FB era" and it is somewhat disturbing that many still struggle wth this. #IntraTeam18
@Katha_Pe @Intranetizen IMO the methods and competences superseeds the tool. Instilling new ways of working (eg. #WOL) in people will help shift the focus to outcomes. What then needs to be established is a set of core tools that enable these.
@Intranetizen I've observed the same in other huge orgs. Seems like once you reach a certain size, the units become so large that they operate independently sharing only the brand. @Katha_Pe - Would be interesting to hear your take on this #IntraTeam18
Clear focus so far at #intrateam18: Finding the order in the chaos of apps to use. The delicate balance between working on the same platforms, and allowing people to work like they want. We need zen.
Only a nightmare if you don't have a clear map of the capabilities you want to enable in your Digital Workplace. IT and MSFT (guilty...) always try to push shiny toys, but without a clear WIIFM for the business and end users, you need to think twice #IntraTeam18 https://t.co/2wI3FdUN76
Virtual wave to everyone at #IntraTeam18 - for the first time in years I'm not able to attend (or randomly bump into people) but will be following from afar. Speakers and topics look great as always :-)
