Designing a 28V → 12V buck for a power-electronics lab build.
Topology is classic synchronous buck — the real work is compensation, inductor selection, and keeping efficiency up from light load to full load.
Tuning the loop next; will share Bode / load-step results when I have them.
Building field-oriented control (FOC) for a permanent-magnet sync motor in MATLAB/Simulink.
Pipeline: measured ia/ib + rotor angle → Clarke/Park to id/iq → PI current loops from torque refs → inverse Park → SVPWM duty cycles for the inverter.
3rd-year ECE. Building in public.
Right now:
• FOC for a PMSM in MATLAB/Simulink (Clarke/Park → id/iq → SVPWM)
• High-speed carrier PCB for LattePanda MU
• 28V→12V buck — loop design + efficiency
Power electronics + control. Sharing what I learn as I go.
