Too young for mid life crisis, too old to have late night epiphanies & too sane to jump off a bridge to see what happens next. I'm 26 & I've no idea what I'm doing.
@NsNitinsinha So, the Reddit rumours are true. Some of the employees hadn't recieved salaries for months allegedly. 4 people owned the company I think. Shumi, Kartikeya, Akash & Shivi. Hope they're back soon.
Niti Aayog paper on E20 with input from auto :
“This will cause the entire population of vehicles available by 2028 un-usable as they may neither have material compatibility nor efficiency / performance optimized. This may cause material degradation, which could lead to fuel seepage/leakage and hence a safety issue, besides FE loss and poor drivability, especially for low powered 2W will not be acceptable to customer.”

His name is Sarthak Goswami, and I believe the entire country needs to watch his reporting, understand it, and become more aware. If this isn't stopped now, it may never be stopped.
This video gives you an idea of how dangerous ethanol factories can be. Not only that, producing ethanol also consumes a huge amount of water, as many of you may already know.
The Ethanol Minister seems to be prioritizing personal interests over the risks of pollution and worsening water shortages. Across the country, many people oppose ethanol blending—except, it seems, the Ethanol Minister
and his son.
What are your thoughts on this?🤔
Rs.102 petrol in Delhi.
Breakdown:
Crude+refining = Rs.38.
Central excise = Rs.19.90.
Delhi VAT = Rs.15.60.
OMC margin = Rs.10.60.
Dealer = Rs.3.83.
TAXES ALONE = Rs.35.50 per litre. 55% of your petrol bill goes to governments who cut not a paise while crude fell 40%.
IMPORTANT: West Bengal is reportedly dropping eggs from school mid-day meals and handing over a vegetarian-only meal contract to ISKCON. Meanwhile, states like Karnataka and Tamil Nadu are expanding nutrition for children with more protein-rich food. School meals should be guided by science and nutrition, not politics or religious preferences. Keep ideology off a child’s plate, for God’s sake. 🙏
If E20 is completely safe, why won't the government release its own report?
- A Mumbai-based banker, Nachiket Deshpande, filed an RTI seeking the actual research studies the Petroleum Ministry itself cited as proof E20 is safe → the ones conducted by IOCL, ARAI, and SIAM. The response: the reports cannot be revealed. The ministry cited the very data it used to justify its own policy, then classified that data when someone asked to see it.
- This isn't the first time this study has caused trouble. A 2014-15 government-funded study by ARAI, the Indian Institute of Petroleum, and Indian Oil Corporation already found up to a 6% decline in fuel economy depending on vehicle type → years before E20 became mandatory nationwide. The government has known about the efficiency hit since before it pushed the policy.
- In Parliament, the government has repeatedly told the Rajya Sabha that E20 causes no significant compatibility issues and no abnormal wear and tear. Outside Parliament, when a citizen asks to actually verify that claim with the underlying data, the answer is confidentiality.
- Millions of vehicle owners have no choice in this. They didn't get a say in the policy, they can't get a say in the data, and they're the ones absorbing the cost → reduced mileage, possible long-term engine wear, parts replacement. Taxpayers fund ARAI and IOCL. The research belongs to the public that paid for it.
This isn't about whether E20 works or doesn't. It's about whether a government that demands compliance from every citizen is willing to be transparent about the evidence behind that demand.
If the data supports your policy, publishing it costs you nothing. Refusing to publish it costs you everything → starting with trust.

The effects on engine and mileage is crystal clear. That's why they don't want to release the report.
In fact automotive magazines and journalists are also instructed to keep their mouth shut.
Just need to go to a local work shop and ask. They'll tell the real story of one of biggest scams pulled out on ordinary Indians.

This is the press release for E20 compliance for Honda India. Additionally, Kunal Behl has told in an Overdrive interview that the cars are compatible with higher blends of ethanol and will be certified as and when the higher blends are mandated.
The Iran-US War finally ends.
Crude is down from the peak of $120 to $83 now.
Waiting for the government to roll back the hike in fuel, LPG and CNG prices.
𝐈 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 #𝐄𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐦 𝐢𝐧 𝟐 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐬. : If INDIA truly wants to cut fuel import bills by Rs 3 lakh crores, all we have to do is build decent roads, proper infrastructure & remove encroachments. But contractors pay netas their cut money & encroachers who cause traffic jams are vote banks of netas. We are told ethanol is “good for the environment” but to produce 1 litre of ethanol it takes 2500-3500 litres of water at sugar mills or above 10,000 litres per litre at rice mills! This when the country is facing water shortage. How is this good for anyone except the netas? Most ethanol distilleries are owned by netas, for example Nitin Gadkari ji’s son! And please tell me how is Gadkari ji announcing ethanol policy when he is neither the Petroleum Minister, nor Agriculture Minister, nor Industry Minister? We the people pay full price for our vehicles + road tax + insurance + tolls + GST on spares… and in return we get pathetic roads, terrible infrastructure & now forced ethanol-blended fuel that kills mileage & damages engines. Meanwhile netas with direct conflict of interest are minting crores & crores and the poor hardworking honest INDIAN suffers as most Indian vehicles aren’t even E20 compatible yet Nitin Gadkari ji is forcing these ethanol norms on us as if we are lab rats!

A policy affecting 140 crore people; signed at 8PM, announced at a press conference the next morning.
No White Paper. No Parliamentary debate. No public consultation. No independent impact study.
Just a minister, a pen, and a family business waiting on the other side.
Let’s talk about what this “policy” actually is:
→ Son Nikhil’s company Cian Agro: ₹18Cr → ₹523Cr revenue in one year
→ Their stock: ₹37 → ₹638. A 2,184% surge; while “the file” was being drafted
→ Son Sarang: Director at Manas Agro. Also in ethanol. Also quietly booming.
Father writes the regulations. Sons hold the equity.
And we’re supposed to call this a “national dream.”
In any functioning democracy, a minister with direct family financial interests in a sector CANNOT unilaterally regulate that sector.
That’s not politics, that’s a constitutional principle.
Where is the Lokpal?
Where is the Prime Minister?
Where is the Parliament?
The dream isn’t about ethanol.
The dream is about a country where accountability has been fully, quietly, abolished.
E85 vs E20: Real-world mileage tested ⛽️
Suzuki’s Flex Fuel Gixxer SF 250 can run on both E20 and E85 fuel. We test it with both blends to find out which one is cheaper to run. Tap below for the results: https://t.co/HUwXzchEYF
Most Indian vehicles were never designed for E20, yet Modi ji's govt & Gadkari ji keep pushing towards E30 and even E100.
As an Indian, I pay full price for my car + taxes on it, pay road tax, pay tolls, pay Centre + state tax on every litre of fuel, pay parking charges… and in return I get $h¡tty infrastructure and now even $h¡ttier forced ethanol-blended fuel that was never meant for most cars on the road.
If I want pure petrol, I should be allowed to buy it. Period.
This ethanol experiment on the common man & their vehicles has made us lab rats.
