India has transformed into a digital powerhouse, yet its commerce landscape remains largely untouched by digitization. Astonishingly, a mere 5-6% of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sell online. The disparity is undeniable.

Today at the Antler-FIDE-ONDC event to launch the #BuildOnONDC initiative, we got a glimpse of how we can reimagine commerce from the ground up.

The aim is to make e-commerce inclusive and small business-friendly and we are on the path to achieve this through the Open Network For Digital Commerce (@ONDC_Official), built on the backbone of open source Beckn Protocol.

ONDC, projected to create $200 billion in value over a decade, is changing the way digital transactions happen online. With its ability to unbundle commerce through interoperability, it is creating a level playing field, allowing all businesses, including from tier-2 and tier-3 cities to be not only discovered but also compete within the online market.
