Dear Mumbaikars,

As Mumbai is witnessing below normal #MumbaiRains so far and water stocks remaining under pressure, please follow these 8 simple steps 👇

1. Fix leaking taps and pipelines immediately.
2. Avoid washing vehicles with running water. Use a bucket instead of a hose for cleaning.
3. Turn off taps while brushing or shaving.
4. Reuse RO purifier wastewater wherever possible.
5. Avoid unnecessary pressure washing of compounds and pavements.
6. Ensure overhead tanks do not overflow.
7. Report major leakages in your locality to BMC & respective authorities.
8. Encourage rainwater harvesting in housing societies.

The monsoon is expected to strengthen soon but until then please use water responsibly. Every drop saved today will matter tomorrow💧
