JIO IPO INFLOWS PUSH RUPEE INTO 'OVERBOUGHT' ZONE DESPITE RENEWED OIL RISE

The IPO-linked inflows helped the rupee gain to 94.35 per dollar from its previous close of 94.46, even as Brent crude rose nearly 2% to $110.6 per barrel.
INDIA, CANADA EXPLORE TWO-WAY ENERGY PARTNERSHIP AS SIDES PUSH TO SEAL TRADE DEAL
India and Canada may explore deeper energy cooperation while expeditiously concluding negotiations for a comprehensive free trade deal, with a proposed two-way energy supply chain in which India would import Canadian oil and gas and send refined petroleum products the other way.
A team of Canadian negotiators will visit New Delhi early next month for the sixth round of free trade talks. Both sides are making efforts to conclude negotiations for a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) before an expected visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Canada in mid-December.
