Father of 5. Love my savior Jesus Christ, my wife, my family, music. Love coding. Love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
I’m a republican, member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, live in Arkansas. Love football and basketball seasons.
I’m in tech and work in the GenAI space.
If any of these sound interesting to you give me a follow and I’ll follow you back.
I’ve grown tired of Bible bashing
Joseph Smith was right:
"In the midst of this war of words and tumult of opinions, I often said to myself: What is to be done? Who of all these parties are right; or, are they all wrong together?
.....
the teachers of religion of the different sects understood the same passages of scripture so differently as to destroy all confidence in settling the question by an appeal to the Bible."
No matter how good your Bible bashing is, it will not change the fact that our strongest questions of the soul find their best answers in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
- Eternal families
- Baptism for the dead
- Premortal life
- Eternal progression
- Living prophets
- Personal revelation
- The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ
There is no other church that even comes close
@austinmolt@emuse1955 I’d invite you to also interview an LDS member about church history too. I think you will get something very one sided from Ethan. You will also get something one sided from the LDS member. But I think you will have a much fuller picture.
@plgrmNprogress@farmingandJesus I think there was a lot of converting going on between Catholics and Protestants for most of Christian history. Catholics and Eastern Orthodox as well.
Are you willing to give me your biblical definition of a Christian now? You have been dancing around it for awhile.
@plgrmNprogress@farmingandJesus Here are a couple references from Christ himself to know who his disciples are.

@plgrmNprogress@farmingandJesus I think we both know the Nicene creed is not from the Bible. That was their interpretation of the Biblical teachings hundreds of years later after Christ.
@plgrmNprogress@farmingandJesus A lot of these points are out of context.
I don’t see a point there though that says why from the Bible we aren’t Christian.
@plgrmNprogress@farmingandJesus Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Use the Bible as well.
Every denomination has their own interpretation of it.
@farmingandJesus I’ll take my culty LDS religion over the other “Christian” religions any day of the week. It honestly made me sick when this happened. I thought it was just because of uninformed people like you online, but speech like yours has consequences for families like mine.
@farmingandJesus It’s talk like this that allows people to feel like they can “other” the LDS. Some kids who call themselves “Christian” publicly kicked my daughter out of their friend group sending an invite to members in the class to come watch, because they said she was in a cult.
I just got off the phone with President Trump
We discussed the Pentagon’s “Christian list”
I won’t speak for him, but I’m thrilled about where this is heading
We’re most fortunate that President Trump (1) loves Latter-day Saints, and (2) is our commander in chief
Stay tuned
