@carlos_Ogilvie@AHalfNickel Some new FF games are good, but they went through a lot of shit games to get there, giving up a large portion of their audience in moving away from turn-based games. I think that's valid critique.
@AHalfNickel I mean, I think the point they are trying to get across (unsuccessfully) is that FF turned away from turn-based games to target a new audience. That was a mistake.
@TheNCSmaster I've always loved turn based games.
I got super mad when Square decided Final Fantasy would no longer be turned based. Why, to appeal to an audience that isn't your own? Stupid.
@ZiaYusufUK There are about 1 million illegals in the UK.
You’d need to deport 200,000 a year to keep up.
You don't have the infrastructure for that.
Stop lying. Be honest:
What can you actually do?
How long would it really take?
@Bruh9_9@pcgamer No, I won't "just admit". Oblivion is a huge success and is a 20-year-old game. You can compare it to whatever games you like, 4 million in around 2 days is impressive.
@Bruh9_9@pcgamer Elden Ring sold 12 million in its first few weeks
Cyberpunk 2077 had 8 million pre-orders
Resident Evil 4 Remake sold 3 million in its first 2 days.
Starfield hit 6 million in a week
Oblivion Remastered has hit 4 million in a couple of days
Very impressive for a remaster.
@Nasdorachi@TheActMan_YT I don't think the beauty of Oblivion comes from its combat - if you do want a good combat experience, you need to play an assassin with a bow.
@Spartan_Drama @SuperDoonerz @TheActMan_YT Yeah, true.
Oblivion feels like it was made by people who really cared. Skyrim feels like an AAA game that was created to make money. It's good, but doesn't have soul.
@TheActMan_YT Oblivion was always a better game - it just aged poorly. I'm so happy to see it get this treatment. Now it can stand against Skyrim and people can see how good it truly was.
