One of my favorite highlights of this year and this decade is head banging with Shaq, across the world at Tomorrowland 2019, at the rail during one of my favorite dj’s set, Kayzo! If you know me, you know that my two favorite things are basketball and EDM. Still blows my mind 🤯
Shai Gilgeous-Alexanger's revenge season is not going to be easy to stomach. He's going to torch teams this season like you've never seen before.
OKC Thunder are the clear favorites to win it all in my eyes.
This is not a travel and im tired local referees calling it a travel in pick up leagues then having the audacity to act like they know the rules.
You are allowed to lift your pivot foot and take a step if you are making a field goal attempt or making a pass.
The only two players in NBA history to record 35 PTS, 15 AST and ZERO TO in a game since 1977-78, including playoffs:
2018 LeBron James.
2026 Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
It’s about music! Not one music style is better than the other, not one music style is more truly than the other. The whole thing is based on respect. It’s all about respect, respect to the music, respect to the DJ’s, respect to the crowd and respect to each other. It’s all music, music never separates people! – Carl Cox
Hey Jimmy Kimmel,
It’s me “Wheezy” the unvaccinated person who a few years ago you said you didn’t want Doctors to help if I was in the hospital but would rather have me die in the hospital corridor.
That was hard to watch because we were censored and kicked off social media if we dared question the government’s narrative.
But you weren’t censored. You were free to say whatever you wanted, including making those who disagreed with you get more attacked and feel more isolated.
But the other night’s emotional monologue of yours was not as hard to watch.
Please save your tears for the American Mom and Dad, who for the last 4 years because of Democrat policies, had to decide whether they should buy groceries or fill their gas tank so they could either feed their family or drive their children to school and then drive to work because they COULDN’T AFFORD BOTH!
You see, it’s easy for you and Oprah to lecture hard working American parents who both have to work to make ends meat and live paycheck to paycheck because you and Oprah are RICH, FLY PRIVATE PLANES and if food prices go up 26% it doesn’t affect you or YOUR Family at all.
If the price of avocados went up to $5,000 dollars, you and Oprah would just eat five grand guacamole.
Wealthy Liberal elites who live in guard gated communities are immune from the destructive Democratic policies that have so deteriorated our nation’s cities. The average American family is not afforded that same luxury…and safety.
I would say a better focus of your emotions would be on repairing your Democratic Party that moved so far Left that they Left the American people behind.
So, you are mistaken in your monologue when you said that “Americans who voted for Trump made a mistake, too.”
No, Sir!
The American people made a correction against policies that they could no longer stomach. And policies that their country could no longer afford.
And it was an overwhelming majority of Americans who made THEIR choice. A choice for a better more affordable America where Free Speech is not under attack but reaffirmed.
Make no mistake, this election is an overwhelming and clear mandate for change. And change is needed. And change is coming.
I sincerely wish YOU and all the people who voted differently than me all my very best and I will continue to cheer for your success and for the success of ALL Americans.
Respectfully,
Rob Schneider
10 Reasons why the WNBA sucks.
I do not see an avenue for the WNBA to be a profitable & widely popular league for another 20~30 years. Here are the WNBA's challenges
1. They are a relatively new league. 27 years in. The NBA in 1973 was not what it was in the 80s, 90s, or today.
2. The league has alienated half the country but choosing to be a machine for the Democrat Party and progressive agendas. Take emotion out of it, this is the logical reality of everything they do. Thus, you eliminated a large demographic.
Sports is our escape from the real world. Politics have no place in sports.
3. Either the league stinks at marketing its players, or the league has no likable players to a wider demographic. The only time I hear from WNBA players in the media is when they are complaining about something, giving a political take, or suggesting that they are being abused because they do not have the same amenities that the men in the NBA have, despite not earning those amenities like the men did over decades of sacrifices and hard work.
4. The players stink at marketing themselves. I constantly hear of NBA shows trying to get WNBA players on. They are often rejected without reason. Screams laziness.
The first mega WNBA star will be everywhere. On every show. Paid or unpaid. Wait n see.
5. The constant comparison to the men's game by the media does not help at all. The WNBA needs to do a better job at educating the masses on how the game is progressing. How is the modern player better than a player in the early 2000s? How do stats compare?
6. The WNBA sucks at building storylines. I do not know who is a rival with who. Who is the villain? Who is the hero? David Stern was a master at this.
7. Being owned by the NBA is a double edged sword. The WNBA is in the summer so it doesn't compete with the NBA.
8. Feminists do not support the WNBA. Women do not support the WNBA. 167.5M women in America. The WNBA should have sold out games every game. There should be more eye balls on the game. Most people would rather complain on Twitter.
I have purchased 2 WNBA shirts and 1 WNBA hoodie. How many can say the same?
9. The media is too scared to cover the game fairly.
Skip Bayless has made a career out of hating on LeBron James. If he did the same to a WNBA player, he'd be fired. The media has to walk on egg shells when covering the WNBA out of fear of sexism claims and cancelation.
10. The product is not great, yet. The NBA product was not great in the 70s compared to where it is today. The WNBA needs time to evolve its game and improve the skill of its players.
We watch the NBA to see men do things that we'd never be able to do, despite playing the game everyday since we were kids. It's remarkable, fascinating, and simply amazing.
That aura or magic is not felt when consuming the WNBA product. Some say they need to lower the rims. I think the game will naturally evolve like the NBA did.
The WNBA is on an upward trajectory. If given enough time, it will become a much more popular league. However, ignoring these points will only slow down their progress.
P.S I know the title of the of the tweet is harsh. However, I say it with a vested interest in seeing the league flourish. RIP Kobe, RIP GiGi.
Do you agree or disagree with these points? What is your take?
A week later + I’m still not over it - I’ve been trying to figure out how many times I’ve played @EDC_LasVegas / Los Angeles and I think it’s around 1/2. Every year I show up + think I’ve seen it all, but @PasqualeRotella and his team keep leveling up. I am honored + humbled to be part of an experience that is the closest version of magic I’ve seen. Year after year the feeling from the audience transmits right into me + I feel connected more than ever. Grateful to have brought the sun up with you again this year. Looking forward to more times together with all of you.
