‘Eshref Ruya’: Two Faces, A Single Story, and the Broken Balance.
•
Even before fully meeting the screen, the coming together of two powerful actors has created a curiosity that supersedes the story. When Demet Özdemir and Çağatay Ulusoy share the same scene, what emerges is not just a fiction; it is a relationship map that has already begun to complete itself in the mind of the audience.
• THE NEW BALANCE FORMING ON SCREEN: THE COLLISION OF TWO DIFFERENT RHYTHMS
• THE LAYERS OF THE CITY: MORE THAN A LIVING SPACE
• DEMET ÖZDEMİR: THE OPEN FORM OF EMOTION
• ÇAĞATAY ULUSOY: THE NARRATIVE POWER OF SILENCE
• VISUAL LANGUAGE AND THE SHIFT IN THE PERCEPTION OF LIFE
• THE NEW HABIT OF THE AUDIENCE: FROM STORY TO BOND

Is it just me or was this scene so odd. Ok, Nisan thought she was just going shopping & would see him in a few hrs but Eşref knew he would most likely die. Is that how you say goodbye to the love of your life for the last time??
Many things weren’t handled well (it really hurts even writing this 💔😭):
the Rüya reveal, Nisan and Eşref’s past, how Nisan escaped from the farm and where she went, how Eşref spent his time in prison, how he met his friend, and how he started working with orphans.
Nisan didn’t know that Eşref didn’t kill Nimet but that it was Çiğdem, and that he went to prison to protect her. And Nisan never figured out that Eşref can draw and he was always drawing her 💔😭
There are also many missing details about Afra’s death regarding Çiğdem and Kadir, because they were kept in the story forcefully, making Eşref and Nisan act in an illogical way toward them. They never properly faced each other about the informant situation at all, and even the baby plot felt wrong. The story was supposed to be about them—the two of them. They should have either died together or run away together.
I’m so sad 😭😭😭

She was the best part of the series. Y'all are use to lying with no pushback from anyone, we speak up over here.
Nisan Akyol was portrayed greatly by #DemetÖzdemir & there is not a gawdam thing you can do to change that. Be blessed!
