@creditcardwalah@IDFCFIRSTBank I'm surprised. Cause in my case, I applied online and my KYC was also done online within a few hours of application. Received the card as per my Aadhar address.
That being said, why are you applying for the IDFC Select Credit Card? It has been greatly devalued and is useless now
A Swiss hotel once displayed a list of special rules exclusively for Indian guests which I personally saw and was appalled.
Today, videos of garba in restaurants, loud conversations in airports, and turning aircraft cabins into picnic spots keep doing the rounds. Even in Davos, an Indian businessman blasted Punjabi music in a club so the whole town could hear it, calling it “soft power” but to everyone’s annoyance.
Japan earned global admiration through their courtesy and civic sense. If India wants to be a true global superpower, the world should remember Indians for its excellence, consideration and respect for others.
Our civic sense seriously needs to be upgraded.

In #Mumbai, playing #sports is becoming a luxury.
Football/cricket turfs: ₹200 pp/hr
Badminton: ₹300-400
Public grounds? Overcrowded.
If access to sport depends on money, talent gets filtered early.
And then we wonder why 1.4 billion people struggle for even 20 gold medals.
🚨🎙️ Thierry Henry on FIFA turning the World Cup Final into a Super Bowl circus:
“Football is losing its soul little by little. A World Cup Final is supposed to be the purest form of football, pressure, intensity, emotion, tactics, suffering, history. Not a halftime concert made for social media clips and celebrities in vip seats.
When you play at the highest level, your body is programmed around rhythm. Fifteen minutes. That’s what every footballer in the world has known since childhood. Your muscles stay warm, your concentration stays locked in, your emotions stay alive. Now imagine players sitting there for 25 minutes during the biggest game of their lives because FIFA wants a bigger TV spectacle.
People think footballers are robots. They are not. Momentum is real. If one team is dominating before halftime, that long break can completely kill the intensity of the game. It changes everything tactically and mentally. You cool down physically, you lose adrenaline, and then people expect players to immediately return playing at 100 miles per hour.
And let’s be honest here, this is not about football, it’s about money and entertainment. They want football to become the Super Bowl. More commercials, more performances, more headlines, more celebrities. But football became the biggest sport in the world without all of that. The game itself was enough.
The dangerous part is that if the final quality drops or players get injured because of these changes, fans will attack the players first. They will say certain stars disappeared in the second half or failed under pressure, without understanding the conditions were completely changed for a television show.
For me, the World Cup Final should feel sacred. Ninety minutes of war between the best players on earth. Not a pause long enough for the world to forget the match is even happening.”

@over2shailaja U talking about running AC buses on Tier 2, Tier 3 cities and villages as well (Point no. 3)? Forget about AC buses, functional and convenient public transport is non existent in majority of the country.
Motivational quote for this Monday:
"Work hard in silence.
Let your success make the noise."
I tried this once.
Nobody noticed 🫢
So I started tweeting.
Here we are...
Happy Monday. Make some noise. Especially if you are from Northeast India. We have been quiet for too long.
@JioCare Logged into https://t.co/3AYX3yevDP from a web browser as advised. Can again see the bill summary with payment due date as 30.04.2026, but the error message displayed on trying to download the bill is "As per current plan, no bill is generated for this number". Screenshot shared
@JioCare My due date of payment is 30.04.2026. If I do not make the payment, you will discontinue my services. At the same time since you are collecting #GST, you are obligated to share a proper invoice with your customers. So can I have my invoice please so that I can make the payment?
@JioCare Again the same response. Have I not been clear about my complaint. The message received in MyJio App is again shared.
Now please don't again respond that Bill is available 48 hours after billing date. Again reiterating that my bill was generated on 21.04.2026.
@JioCare Really frustrating experience with Jio. They are repeating the same steps of how to download the bill without even acknowledging that the bill is not available for download in the app. On the other hand receiving reminders to pay the amount without even receiving an invoice.
