It’s a beautiful day for gardening! Third graders were hard at work in the micro farm this week. They marveled at the size and color of the radishes they had planted last spring and enjoyed our first fall harvest.

Halloween and school spirit were in the air this weekend as the Lower School community kicked off the annual Book Fair with Family Fun Day! Families enjoyed trick-or-treating, potato sack races, pumpkin decorating, carnival games, and outdoor play on a beautiful fall day.
2nd graders practiced addition and subtraction skills using Dash Robots. Students used block coding to move their Dash forward and backward on a number line and then completed increasingly difficult challenges using the Dash and other resources.

After several sessions of improvising, playing, building, reflecting, and refining, the 5th-grade class performed their original drama piece, Follow the Leader? in the Jane Lisman Katz Theater in front of their families.

Middle School Change Agents - a group of students who work to bring about positive changes in our School community and The Bronx raised awareness about breast cancer, painting pumpkins with facts, prevention strategies, and names of those who have been affected by cancer.
Students, families, and alumni gathered last weekend for the Homecoming and Reunion with a day of activities, games, performances, an Alumni Awards ceremony, home games, and workshops. It was great to be together after so long!
