@SamLMontano@creekthinker 3. Turns out the homeowner was the disaster and emergency coordinator for the County. He was also the floodplain administrator who permitted the house. Lots of hesitation about taking the building down. I walked back to my truck and drove away.
@SamLMontano@creekthinker 2. I assessed the situation, said to get personal belongings out and use the excavator to pull as much of the structure away from the bank as possible (ie- destroy the house and keep it out of the river). Lots of consternation and foot scratching followed.
