Most people see the symptoms.
A police cruiser at a $200 road job.
Tent cities that grow while spending explodes.
Addiction and mental-health systems that take billions and still deliver poor results.
A national debt that took 192 years to hit $1 trillion and only 45 years to reach $37 trillion.

I see the architecture.

Same design logic at every level: local rules that protect the connected, federal programs that reward caseloads over exits, a cultural shift that weakened the older institutions of restraint, and a political system that pushes the bill into the future through debt.

More money has been tried. The data show the core problems did not close. That is not a funding shortage. It is a design failure.

The Founding generation treated debt as temporary and self-government as the default. We inverted both.

Seeing the pieces is common.
Seeing how they lock together is rarer — and more useful.

There is something called a Substantial Gainful Activity rule in social security. If you earn over a certain amount from working it disqualifies you

This is not new. This rule has always been apart of the social security program

There is a very obvious flaw in this system. Rent prices and cost of living is so expensive, most people can’t live on just SS. But the limits on job income to disqualify you are very low

This means it keeps people trapped in this low income level and many people are disabled and should be given the help
