On August 24, 2026, Palestinian Authority police arrested an armed Israeli reservist who was on leave and had entered the city of Beitunia, west of Ramallah.

He was later handed over to Israeli authorities.

Palestinian security personnel stopped an armed Israeli man in a vehicle on a side road near Beitunia. The man was carrying an M16 rifle and a pistol.

The officers disarmed him, handcuffed him, and detained him.

Palestinian police later transferred the man into Israeli custody.

🚨 Yemen Armed Forces Statement

The Yemeni Armed Forces say they carried out a ballistic-missile strike on the Saudi-linked oil tanker “Amzan” in the northern Red Sea, off the coast of Yanbu.

According to the statement, the vessel was hit directly and caught fire, while several other ships in the vicinity reportedly left the area.

Yemen says the operation is part of its declared maritime restrictions on Saudi-linked shipping and its policy of responding to a blockade with a blockade.
