Habs lose their home opener (or game 6 theoretically). You walk into the same team with the same players and the same system, you get the same results typically. We’ve all seen bad 2nd periods, getting hemmed in our own end until we get endless penalties for the last 2 years where the team has been competitive, there needs to eventually be a solution. It’s okay not to have it right away, it’s early in the season, but you can’t keep pushing the solution till later with luck. I understand quality over quantity for shots, but you still need quantity to get quality. Carolina is the team we have to beat to get to a Cup Final, and so far, we haven’t figured it out. On the game itself: Bolduc played good with the ice time he had, not a game to remember from Dobes and Slaf, loved Florian’s energy at the start but would have liked to see it more throughout to give us a spark. Let’s bounce back Thursday.
