May 21, 2006 - a further attempt to convince the forums that I had a real copy of the GTA:SA on PSP . Pay no mind to the fact the disc clearly says 'Playstation 2'
The disc is likely my first ever photoshop work. The photo was a PS2 screenshot loaded up in the PSP photo viewer.
Today on the 2006 archive, here is a cover I designed for GTA San Andreas Stories - a game that didn't exist and never would.
It features many of Rockstar's trademark design elements, like licensed vehicles, reused art assets from previous games, and a helicopter in the bottom left.
Nobody was fooled.
Back in the days of forums etc, you used to put these things called 'userbars' in your signature, to share a little bit about yourself.
Here are some I made in 2006. I did not drive a Renault, as i was 14.
Generally you'd have one or two on display but I made a block like this because of course I did.
@Jakeinvades honestly, i had a shitty fixed focus camera that came with my PC as a bundle. that was the best pic i could take (14yo dumb brain) and i didn't know about fixed focus or focal lengths lol
May 6, 2006, I posted this image to the PSP forums, trying to convince people my dad worked at Sony and GTA:SA was releasing on PSP.
I didn't have photoshop so I actually printed out the cover art and put it in a UMD case.
Nobody believed me & I got banned from the forum.
what is so beautiful about this is that it's my earliest traceable picture i ever put on the internet. and i just wanted attention!
now, 20 years on, this picture has attention.
mission fucking accomplished!!
