cars, yes, but when I was younger there was wasn't one better at that price.

@adamcarolla Nothing was better. I had a 2 dr 1971 that was just a basket case that I bought for $400 in High School. The learned how to repair cars on that 71. I picked up a 71 4d with a clean body and bad engine. Swapped parts and had my Ortega racer.

@TomAgitator @FrankBr05713205 The NorthStar was a good design, if you replaced the head mounting bolts. The originals used too fine of thread and the head gaskets blew. GM did correct later models but reputation was damaged. GM has been doing stuff like that since at least the early seventies.

@TaraBull The land drops off to a thousand feet under water quickly at Cobo, it as if open sea is right next to the beach, so you get weird waves. Its great fishing, though.
