@Justhangin60067@jdmiles11 none of that matters in Texas. you could open carry a Bowie knife or carry a switch-blade. what does matter is you cannot just murder someone.
I've been reading articles this morning about some of the criticisms of the Vietnam Memorial when its concept was first announced.
It was criticized for:
- using the color black
- the abstract minimalist design
- lack of military tradition
- the artist’s Asian heritage
It’s interesting because to me the Vietnam Memorial is “the standard” for honoring those lost in war.
It immediately hit me when my dad first took me to see it when I was 13 years old.
The fact that so many died fighting far from home gave me a sense of humble pride.
I want the GWOT Memorial to produce that same feeling.
I want some kid to be so moved by it that they realize, as an American, they are part of something greater than themselves and understand that there are those who risk their lives to protect that ideal.
@thesoltrencha@semitic_jew@Tazaryach they could not, would not convict a black man. the ultimate racism. allowing murderers to walk free because of the color of their skin. not this time.
Good day folks. You ever find yourself in a situation while doing things and need to put away random stuff? Well do I have the product for you! From @ExUmbrisDesigns we have the Tri-Fold Dump Pouch. It folds up for when not used. Convenience. Really cool. Link in the comments!
