I have had to move multiple times because I can't afford rent, and I now have to live with my mom. I will hopefully get on SSI soon but even with that I won't be able to live on my own. There is no way for me to afford housing in Portland.

Just so everyone understands. There's a court case working its way through the system to zap protection for people with pre-existing conditions. It could well get to the Supreme Court next year. And if he's confirmed, Kavanaugh could cast the tie-breaking vote.
