Reflecting on my time as a #studentnurse in my new blog, also celebrating how amazing Student Nurses are and hopefully enlightening others! #NHS#nurses https://t.co/vPvW2Dz9Z4
I absolutely love my job but boy am I looking forward to annual leave next week💀 been so full on helping developing the #MHST offer in my new locality along with a looming essay & presentation deadline for my IAPT supervisor course 😴
Flying the #studentnurse flag for the CAMHS Mental Health Support Team by supporting the first ever full placement student nurse from Plym Uni, who has been an absolute star & has enabled us to support future students🥰 im so passionate about MHST providing student placements👏
@jemimakempton @MHnurseabby I love this idea!! No advice from me as such, theres a mental health nursing facebook page which may be helpful to join and ask this question on to get more viewpoints! Sounds like a great opportunity.
So, yesterday I completed my first revalidation as a mental health nurse🥳 can’t believe its been 3 years, what a journey its been so far, continuing in the best job ive had so far as a CAMHS practitioner & EMHP Supervisor within the Mental Health Support Team in Schools💙 #nurse
Absolutely love working with the Mental Health Support Team in schools, running a parent led group & had feedback about the cost of the manual impacting engagement, I raised this & a week later I have a box of manuals (newly ordered) for the parents🥰 #CAMHS
We’re extremely disappointed that the government is making calories on menus mandatory in England from 6 April.
We know it causes anxiety for people affected by eating disorders.
We know it can increase fixations on restricting calories for anyone with anorexia or bulimia. 🧵
95% of deadly eating disorders start with a diet.
Yearly reminder to avoid discussing dieting with others, going on diets, and supporting companies that promote diets. #2022Goals#NewYearResolution
I remember how disappointed me & my 2 best friends at uni were re. 👎grades, including some 40ish marks! Less than 2 years on we’re band 6’s, love our careers & have completed masters level learning & helped so many staff/patients. My advice: grades do not maketh the nurse 🤣
#NRS410 For all of our @punc14#punc21 students who are disappointed with your grade. Remind yourselves this is no normal year and you should be very proud of yourselves whatever your result. Hang in there and have a great break you all deserve it 🎅
